Does a stroke come on slowly?

A Stroke may occur suddenly, but sometimes the symptoms may develop slowly over a few minutes or hours. In some cases, a person may experience a Transient Ischemic Attack, commonly known as a mini-stroke, days or weeks before a stroke, which is an early warning sign of a stroke.
