A Transient Ischemic Attack, commonly known as a mini stroke, occurs when blood flow to the brain is temporarily blocked. Common symptoms include sudden weakness or numbness in the face, arm, or leg, often on one side of the body; difficulty speaking or understanding speech; sudden vision changes such as blurred or double vision; dizziness or loss of balance while walking; and a sudden severe headache without a clear cause.
